Nature's Glories

I was surprised to have been selected as one of the winners of Blogaversary challenge on Country View Challenge, and it is a great honor for me to be asked if I want to be a guest designer for May challenge where the theme is Nature's Glories

Mini Drawer 11x13,5 cm
The container from Tim Holtz's Matchbox die is used to build up the drawer.

Nature's Glories is a great subject for there are plenty of options, and I am proud to show my mini drawer with a bit of mother nature. Me and my family have always collected things when we are at the beach or in the woods. When we get home, we talk about what we have collected.

 Tim Holtz Matchbox die
7 DOTS STUDIO 6x6 desinger pad Nature Walk
Artemio, 7 gypsies stamp and Alpha Stamp
Distress Paint Antiqued Bronze - Peeled Paint - Salty Ocean
Distress Ink Walnut Stain - Distress Marker
Glue n'seal
Versafine onyx black
Wood pieces, handle, shells, bottles and brads

I have used Tim Holtz eroded metallic technique on the back and faux cracked glass on the bottle.

Tissue tape Elements on the edges.

  3. Oh my! How could this have slipped my attention, Susan?

It's brilliant, breathtaking and soooo utterly beautiful! I LOVE bugs, I LOVE nature collections and your presentation is sooo awesome! (Is that a real shark's egg to the right? Wow! These look so mysterious, don't they?)

One of the best projects I have seen in a long time! Absolutely adorable!

    1. Hi Claudia Thanks for your lovely comment. Yes it's a shark egg and I've picked it up from the North Sea one of the many times we have stayed summer vacation there. I and my little family gathers stones, shells and we are looking especially for amber, but we're not so good at finding it ;-)). On your blog, I can see that you love nature, and I found your "paper bug tutorial", it is really nice and I would I like to make it.
