Start from scratch!

I have taken the fun challenge on Simon Says Stamp: start from scratch.
And it's true it's just to get started... ;-)
I must also from time to time work with my blocking for use of white paper.

So thanks for all the good advice from Michelle they are good to have in mind.

I stamped my post card 2 times, and cut out the bird
and colored with blue and red.
I distressed the background with old paper ink. And also distress on the edge.
The background of my manilla tag is embossed with clear embossing powder and highlighted with old paper, gathered twigs and pumice stone.
The small card is stamped with Tim's Grunge Alphabet.
Tim's feathers got a thick layer of embossing powder
on top of the black color. At last I put a wax seal on.

  3. This tag is incredible! I love everything about it and am so amazed at the beautiful way in which you colored the bird. I love his blue feathers next to his red chest. Great job on cutting him out, too-- that must've required some patience down by his skinny little legs! I love the background and the addition of the feather and wax seal. I think the "love" in bright bold colors is just perfect, too. You did an amazing job on this and I'm so glad you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!

  4. Gorgeous! I love how you blended the bird with a pop of red on his breast. The letters popped in behind the bird is fabulous! Thank you for playing along with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge!
