Easy Mushroom Card - Helen Allen and Rubber Dance Stamps

Easy Mushroom Card

Hello this is Susan from Rubber Dance Design Team, and here is my second post with an easy and very particular mushroom card.

Helen Allen and Rubber Dance Stamps have made a fine collaboration with video and stamp set.
It's a really good video instruction with suggestions for sizes and material list on what you can chose to make. The stamp set is very beautiful and it is only your imagination that sets the limits. I have amused myself with this mushroom card.

Photos of the front and inside of the card.

The Mushroom stamp set and 10 video tutorials can be purchased both at Helen's Etsy Shop and on Rubber Dance Stamps website, and there are links to both below.

April's post looks good on pinterest and they are beautiful.
We all have our favorite songs!
Will'i'am's song "Smile Mona Lisa" is also one of the songs I like to hear.

I hope that we get a good weather in May, it rains here and it is still cold outside!

Thank you for visiting and may you have a good day.

Art*Journal*Journey - For the Record - Inspired by a Song

Right away, I came to think of the song "Blackbird" and let me inspire !.
In our courtyard lives a couple of blackbirds, and it's great to hear them singing early in the morning and at sunset.

Thanks for a great blog with lots of talented artists who show their fabulous journal pages.

And the "White Space" on PaperArtsy is also great inspiration!

I wish you all a good creative day
Hugs, Susan

Inspired by Roxanne Coble - ByBun

It has been a great inspiration to participate in Roxanne Coble - ByBun's Creatures online Art Journal class. Roxanne is an amazing artist, illustrator and educator and her journal spead and mini books are poetic and tell lots of stories.
It has also been fun to see what the other participants in the class are doing with their journal pages. They do not lack imagination, and I think they have had just as much fun as I've had.

Here are my first step, I work in an old book that has photos in black / white and have a bit heavier paper pages.

Then it's just going wild and crazy with the colors.

Here is my second attempt ...

Thanks for visiting my blog and hope you like my journal pages ;-)

SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges - MouseTime

This month at SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges I have made a mousetrap.
It's a thing I've thought about for a while, and now I could not wait any longer.

First I painted the background black and the metal has been prepared in vinegar and salt water for several days. The gears are cut in grunge board.

The little spider is made from rusted wire.

I have used:
DecoArt Media gesso white and black, texture sand paste, crackle paste
DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics paynes gray and quinacridone gold
DecoArt Media Antiquing Cream, english red oxide, corbon black and patina green
Americana decoupage matte
Andy Skinner Toxic stamp
Tim Holtz gear, scrap and grunge board
Mousetrap and found items

Thanks for visiting my blog and I look forward to see your project on
I wish you a nice day.
Hugs, Susan
