Wanderlust #37 with Kasia - The Meadow page

I went to my florist to choose flowers that would grow in my garden if I had one.

Wow - first paint with watercolor and then cover it all with gesso, LOL - far from my comfort zone, but exercise makes master.

 I think I achieved a good result.

I wish you a good and creative day.

A new challenge on YUPO paper with acrylic, watercolors and inks. I had not imagined working with acrylic colors, on YUPO.
WOW a really good experience. Thanks to Wendy Brightbill, to expand my horizon on how to use new material with YUPO.

Mixed Media Art Book Group - August and September

Marjie Kemper has a new group on Facebook that I participate in and August it was Dina Wakley's Book "Art Journal Freedom" we should let inspire our work. I participated on August 12 (page 51)

Stamps and colors from Dina Wakley.

Here in September, it's from Seth Apter's book "The Mixed Media Artist" and I chose Crystal Neubauer, "Below the Surface" page 89.

Stamps from Lynne Perrella, some design paper from Prima. Different scraps that are distressed with ink.

ITAC 2017 Challenge 5 - The Americas

Indians and gold diggers and cowboys, the big country full of challenges from south to north. There were many people from the North who immigrated to America and you should have faith in changing their lives.

I have used Tim Holtz stamps, ephemera, Big chat and Distress paint. Canvas, # 12 tag, feather, black gesso, Archival ink and sewing machine.

Thank you for your visit on my blog and I wish you a creative day.

ITAC 2017 Challenge 4 - Africa

When I think of Africa, it's beautiful people, warmth, the sun, mountains, and insects. That's probably because I live here in the north, and this year we have not had the most sunny weather.

I have used Dylusion's paint and journal for my double journal page. DecoArt media crackle paint and sand paste, Archival ink, Tim Holtz stamp and stencil, sequins and Everyting art stamp.

Colour In My World - **ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY*

I thank the participants at AJJ for the great posts that are being displayed and thanks to Yvonne from Meggy's way that hosts this month's theme.
I could not help thinking of autumn colors, when I drew my imaginary bird.

These oaks acorn were on our way home from the North Sea which we have visited again, and it is a good sign that it is autumn.

My post in September on SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges

When heat and sun set in on old walls where green plants grow up, beautiful butterflies come to relax before their journey continues.

I have used corrugated cardboard, sand paste and paint to give a little 3D effect.

I have used: DecoArt media fluid acrylies: cobalt turquoise hue, cobalt teal hue, yellow green light, quinacridone gold, translucent white, quinacridone violet, yellow oxide. Americana decoupage matte. DecoArt media texture sand paste. Andy Skinner stamp Toxic.

I hope you want to participate in SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges, and I'm looking forward to see your project.
