In February a new challenge on
SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges Anything Goes Industrial/Steampunk
It has been fun to make this Valentine mixed media, and I'm happy with my result. In my enthusiasm I forgot time and it is good with the various matrials I have to play with, so I'm a lucky woman.
Materials used:
DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics:
Paynes Grey, English Red Oxide, Quinacridone Gold, Raw Umber, Quinacridone Burnt Orange and Translucent White.
DecoArt Crafter's Acrylic Christmas Red.
Distress Spray stain twisted citron and walnut stain.
Archival ink jet black
Tim Holtz perspective stamp.
Ultra thick embossing clear
Sizzix thinlits, bigz,and embossing folder
Gear, wire, old book page white cardboard and brads.

You know I am a huge fan of insects of all sorts and your fantastic make leaves me even more impressed and drawn to it because of all the awesome surface texture and colours and layers you have created!
