Have you seen the new September challenge on
SASPC where you can choose from vintage, industrial and/or steampunk ?.
I think it would be exciting to try vintage with a twist ... I admire all the scrappers who make very beautiful vintage layout and boxes, etc.
To stick to two colors throughout vintage project is for me very hard, I love the colors - hmm, I'm really happy how it came to look like.
It is probably not shown on my photos how much glitter I have used. * LOL
I love Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, they are amazing.
I started to give my #8 tag gesso, when dry, I sprayed 3x each with Buccaneer bay blue and Tawny Turquoise from Lindy's, in between I dried with the heat gun to get the blue mica forward. Tim's lace stencil was used on top with black soot ink, it gave the femine look. Everything has got the three colors except for the gauze.
Sewing machine is a Sizzlits, and I have raised it with corrugated cardboard and foamtape. The small embroidered S has got perfect pearls pewter. Some of the edges got Inka gold hematith.
Silk ribbon is sprayed with Buccaneer bay blue, Tawny Turquoise and Tim's chipped sapphire spray. PaperArtsy stamp is stamped with archival ink jet black. The small text are from 7gypsies steampunk rubbings. Fra my stash come lace, gear and a small heirloom rose from Tim Holtz.
Hugs, Susan
