Summer ATC

This is a wonderful and amazing gift that is given from Retro Kraft Shop
Join the Summer Bonus Challenge to win this.

For the Summer Bonus Challenge I have made an ATC,
which I hope will inspire you.
Summer greeting to all of you who are helping to make Sandee & Amelie's steampunk a great blog. May you all have a really dazzling summer. Hugs Susan

Ranger's Kraft ATC - Ranger's Patina Rust - Tim Holtz Distress ink Walnut Stain -
ChitChat Seasonal - Remnant Rubs Botanical - Layering Stencil Splatters
Archival ink Wendy Vecchi Watering Can
Cheery Lyn Gears die - Oxford Impression Steampunk Works stamp
Marianne Design die - Brads - mini Finnabair - old dress pattern

I have use a old pattern sheets as the background for my ATC which has the right brownish color that suits the moodboard.
I have use Ranger's Kraft ATC as a base for my stamp,
after I ripped the top layer and put my zipper on.
The zipper I've rubbed with black color and the gears with a little brown
shades and attached with a brad.
ChitChat from Tim Holtz and my splatter stencil
reminded me of the South Sea Islands.

I hope that you have been attracted to participate in Sandee & Amelie's Steampunk Challenge and to make your own  Summer Bonus Challenge project. Thanks for stopping by and I'm looking forward to see your project.

Hugs Susan

  2. Wonderful make Susan! I have to ask how did you make the zipper? I LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing your talent with us all. Karen.x

    1. Hi Karen
Thank you for your sweet message. It is pure illusion with the zipper - it is a Marianne Design die, that I found at my local craft retailer and thought it was exciting and I had to own it... :-) The zipper is cut in metal paper, and I've rubbed it with sandpaper and painted it with black color.
