Fruit bread baked in an iron pan

To get a break from all the scrapmaking, ;-) I love to bake. This fruit bread is baked in an iron pan at 250 degrees for about 30 minutes and the lid should be removed for the last 10 minutes at 225 degrees.
I have used spelled flour, wheat flour, yeast, water, honey, salt, almonds, raisins, dates, cranberries and apple pieces. The secret of the good bread is that it must raise more than 12 hours.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I wish you a good bread baking day.

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 102

Once again, I must say that it has been an experience to follow Tim's amazing course. It has been an eye-opener with the papers I have tried and there really is a difference between what expression I got.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I wish you a great day.

In the middle of Copenhagen

In the middle of Copenhagen is our apartment and outside our windows is a small paradise apple tree. Just nice to be so close to nature. The photo was taken in late September.

Steampunk Destinations

On Sandee & Amelie's Steampunk Challenge the theme this month is
Steampunk Destinations.

A long time ago I purchased a cardboard book, and I think it is appropriate for this challenge. It is painted with a black acrylic paint and crackle. On the page of the book, I have glued corrugated cardboard to create the illusion of page contents. Mona Lisa is from a napkin, and there is used photo from Hot of the Press and Alpha Stamps. The country map is from Marianne Design and the stencil is from TCW. Tim Holtz French Flight, Arch Frame, Tag & bookplates die and Chit Chat is used. I have made the small paint box when I was bitten by a mad miniature mania, years ago. And, there is used amounts of Golden acrylic paint and paste.

Magical Nature Moments

This month on Our Creative Corner Kerstin has an inspirational image:

Photographs can tell amazing stories of specific places or unforgettable moments in nature.

For this challenge use a favourite photograph and add some special colours, moods and effects.

Put these ingredients together in a vintage style and share your creative story with us. Especially suitable areclassical scrapbook layouts (30 x 30) or canvases in mixed media style but you can also make cards or tags (as long as your project includes a magic nature photograph and coryright is respected).

Note:if you don't like scrapbooking or are no photographer, the focal image can also be replaced by a cut out (or transferred) nature photograph from a postcard or magazine for example.

Journal pages are great to work with and here I have sprayed with Dylusions ink spray and used craftersworkshop stencils to make the page. To make the edges more grungy I stamped with Tim's Ultimate Grunge & Worn Text. It's my own photos from Haveselskabets Have that has trees, shrubs and flowers from around the world. Other materials Pen Nibs and mini tattered leaves, small manila tags, leftovers, white pen, corrugated cardboard, wasitape, remnants and flowers are from my stash.
