Mexico Moods

Lovely inspiration on OCC's blog as DT has shown.

It spoke right to my inner creative mind, it is Mexico!

And it had to be a door to all our dreams to be opened now and make it come true

I have used dylusions amazing acrylic colors in my journal book, they are suitable for my Mexico dies and small talk Tim Holtz, flower punch and pearls.

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015 - July

I hope that all who celebrated independence day had a really good experience.

When I had seen Tim's manila tag, it would be good to be creativ and got inspired . 

I have not been creative very long time, so now I look forward to get started.

I have used:

Tim Holtz #8 manila tag, watercolor paper, paper stash lost & found,

stamp correspondence & city scapes

silk ribbon, jump ring, mini numerals, typed tokens, mirrored star, vial label,

remnant rubs special delivery,

Distress ink barn door, faded jeans, pumice stone, black soot

Distress marker barn door, faded jeans,

Distress stain picket fence,

Tim Holtz stencil stars, laser cut stripes,

archival ink jet black

distress micro-glaze

For the stars and stripes, I have used distress micro-glaze. It works really well, 

my water color is fine on top, and it is easy to wipe clean so that the white 

paper reappears.

A birthday card

Johannes, my daughter's beloved fiancé has got this birthday card, and of course there was a fish ... I have carved the barcode stamp to afford the drawing greater depth.

Steampunk Tic Tac Toe - July/August

Here you see the fine Tic Tac Toe, that Claudia has made for the summer challenge, where you can choose the three fields (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) that are interesting for you to work with.

I have chosen diagonally "Words - Metal - Fabric"

I have had many balls in the air around this issue and it has been really fun to work with. I hope that also you will get a good scraptime with our Tic Tac Toe.

There is no summer here in Denmark yet, we have much rain and very little heat! So I thought "Summer" - where is the good weather?

My little box is 8x13 cm

 I've used stamps from Andy Skinner, Hero Art and Studio 490.

 Archival ink jet black, and plenty of golden acrylic, clock parts for RetroKraftShop, and from my drawer's fabric remnants, radio parts, gears, miniature and game spinners from Tim Holtz.
