Hot days by the North Sea in September 2016.

My hubby and I took a wonderful trip to the North Sea, where we had the most incredible experiences.

The North Sea was calm, and not a breath of wind, otherwise a really good place to surf. Calm is surfer's nightmare. We saw birds migrating to Africa and starlings galore that appeared in the sky like a small black sun.

We were on Svinkløv Badehotel where we ate freshly caught plaice with parsley sauce and potatoes for lunch. The resident ladies at the hotel enjoy themselves with coffee and knitting. There were temperatures up to 29 degrees, so we were out at the sea all the time. We visited one of the last places by the North Sea where fishermen pull their boats up the beach, and we bought in Lild Strand a nice freshly caught salmon for our dinner.
