The video from Stampin'Up "two minute technique" is a great way for a beginner and I use it often. Thanks to PaperArtsy for displaying different videos that I can learn from.
I stamped with gray ink, drawed the bird band where I should have my hearts to hang. After I had stamped on my masking tape, I cut out the motives and placed them. I distressed my tag and then used my stencil. The motives were colorized and the hearts got 3D pads and were put on.
I have used: Studio 490 stamp set scs140
Distress ink fra Ranger, broken china, twisted citron, wilted violet, tumbled glass and lucky clover
Archival ink watering can and carnation red
Tim Holtz thinlits shape strips and stencil mini set 21
12# tag watercolor and black paper and masking tape from tesa
Glitter pen, silk ribbon and water brush
Jeg wish you a crafty and nice day.
Hugs, Susan
PaperArtsy Topic #2 - Masks Challenge
It's beautiful Susan. Reminds me of the embroidered postcards from the First World War, that the soldiers used to send home to their loved ones.
