It's rare that I doodle and I am very fascinated by those who master this technique, so I had to try it, I have used watercolor paper, watercolors, stencil and thread and put in my black journalbook.

In February a new challenge on

SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges Anything Goes Industrial/Steampunk

It has been fun to make this Valentine mixed media, and I'm happy with my result. In my enthusiasm I forgot time and it is good with the various matrials I have to play with, so I'm a lucky woman.

Materials used:

DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics:

Paynes Grey, English Red Oxide, Quinacridone Gold, Raw Umber, Quinacridone Burnt Orange and Translucent White.

DecoArt Crafter's Acrylic Christmas Red.

Distress Spray stain twisted citron and walnut stain.

Archival ink jet black

Tim Holtz perspective stamp.

Ultra thick embossing clear

Sizzix thinlits, bigz,and embossing folder

Gear, wire, old book page white cardboard and brads.

Winter Wonderland - DecoArt Challenge

Real fine examples that the Design Team has shown and very inspiring.

Here is my suggestion for Winter Wonderland challenge.

I started with gesso and then the blue color. I put white again and used sandpaste to the landscape and the stars. I clipped a mini city in black paper and got snow on the roofs. Some of the lines were marked with black ink. The background round about the snow and the stars got ice blue metallics. The small bears came to the landscape to create extra depth.

Black, White & Red - Rubber Dance Stamps January Challenge

It's my first ATC card this year, I love the small format that I can decorate! This lobster is really good at this ATC cards and I chose black, white and red.

I used acrylic color black and white. Archival ink jet black and cornation red.

**ARTJOURNALJOURNEY* Winter Wonderland 01/2016

I have a lot to say goodbye to in the old year, so there is just a little gnome that is looking out. I look forward to start again in the new year.

Winter Wonderland is a really a good way to begin, so here is my proposal.

I have used stamps from Rubber Dance Art Stamps,

the new outline letters are fun to doodle in.
