Hello Minnesota!
New challenge at **ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY* with the host
Halle from Halle's Hobbies...

I experiment with a limited of color group with 4 acrylic colors and pastels that fit.
I have also chosen a neon pink to give a little life.
On two pages I have tried to make some fun.

Why have I written "Embrace the weirdness"

on my flower page, is because sometimes I forget to draw

and paint in my journal, and when I do, it must always be nice

and it must be understandable for those who look at it.

I have to remember to be a little crazy...

We were a trip to the garden "Frederiksberg Have",
which is planted with the finest shrubs, trees and flowers.

A nice rhododendron.

I'll be more free to "make cool things" 

In the past I was very bound by what is right and what is wrong,

and there is certainly not something that is right and wrong.

I remember in particular that I was told that you do not mix

the different media like watercolor and black ink an so on.

Well that was a lot of words, hoping you could keep out my talk.
It was a great challenge that came from Minnesota,
thanks to Halle and AJJ it's always exciting to participate.

Fragments... June challenge on SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges

I love making small journals, this one is with 2 signatures,

and with all the worn and beloved colors from DecoArt.

With all the great journals on the internet I feel very inspired there is something for

everyone's taste and there is nothing right or wrong.

Paste and crackle on my cover, I am so very happy with and the small fragments

and marks on the pages I think it fit really well.

It's fun to play with different marks, it's something that has crept into my

projects during the last few years.

The use of sewing machine and black thread

gives me a great sense for the small fragments

The little things beside my journal are parts of my life that I have had for some years.

All the fine stamps from Andy Skinner are really good for my subject.

The golden and brown burned colors are my favorites

My head is in the clouds

"In the Sky/In the Air"

Erika from BioArtGal hosts the Art Journal Journey May challenge.

I have doodled and glued small pieces of gelli papers to my journal page.

I started with intuitively drawing lines with pencil, then I found a face, bird and some trees, yes it ended like you can see... LOL

Bound heart in a box

Do you know the feeling like being trapped in a thought or in your body ...

My paper doll is stiffened in steel and the heart is in a box with gears. She must use her legs to keep going and get out into the real world.

Hello springtime - *ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY* March 2019

Jo from Let's Art Journal is this month's host at *ART*JOURNAL*JOURNEY*
A nice topic where everything begins...

Then it's time to build a nest, to sing and buzz and the life has to start again.

The little bird is inspired by Geninne D. Zlatkis's from her book

"Birds in Watercolor, Collage and Ink", a great book

recommended by Claudia from Steampunk challenges.

I have used Dina Wakley paint and stencil. Some ink and pen.

There I saw a small branch that I took home.

Fossils - journal page and ATC

Welcome dear blog readers, this time it's a long post, I hope you will like it !

Fossils are some of the things I love to gather on the beach, and I become dizzy by thinking about how old these can be...

I am having fun experimenting, first with the colors of my gelli plate. I have tried to hit tones from the beach and sea, afterwards with different media with my stencil.

I have used stencil and stamp designed by Andy Skinner.

I have used different crayons to achieve depth and fullness.

Here are some details.

I have used DecoArt media:

Crackle paste, Crackle glaze, Black and white gesso

 DecoArt media fluid acrylics:

Titan buff, Dioxazine purple. Quinacridone gold, Quinacridone burnt orange,

Transparent yellow iron oxide, Translucent white, Cadmium orange hue,

Cobalt Turquoise hue, Yellow green light.

DecoArt stencil Andy Skinner Fossil and Industrial elements.

Andy Skinner stamp: ASCRS03, ASCRSH AS Fossils and

ASCSA5018 Tempting Textures.

One of my experiments was cut into ATCs.

Then stamped on tissue paper with Andy Skinner Stamps Fossils.

 I also used color pencils, wax, shapie pen, tea bags, thread,

sewing machine and tissue paper.
